Jude  saw Lucy who gave them juice  also sitting beside both of them  and was now facing him too to hear what he has to say. 

"Oh nevermind i was just joking" Jude said as he smile shaking her hands  that was with her drink in a playful way which causes some of the drinks to pour on her hands

"Jude stop it do you want to pour my drink" maria said as she try to be more careful with her drink by holding it tight.

Lucy watch Jude as he act playfully "I thought this boy can't play why is he so Happy being with my friend here oh my Goodness hope is not what am thinking because if it's what am thinking this house won't contain both of us, take a look at him chai pretender don't worry I will deal with you today just take a little drink it seem the first one wasn't effective this one is overdosed!! Sorry my dr friend that you will join him " lucy said within herself as she look at both of them smiling

"No!!!! Don't drink it" Jude shouted holding her hands 

"What's all this naughty character of yours coming from " lucy said getting upset and jealous  this made Jude to feel ashamed and shy.

"Ah ah lucy he is just exited to see me na" maria Said dropping her drink on the tray where Jude drink was too as she went to pet Jude.

Jude immediately  use that opportunity to shake his body,

"Leave me , leave me am not happy leave me " he said waving his hands all around not allowing maria to touch him till he eventually hit the both drink which pour on the floor breaking the glass cups.

"Oh my goodness what did I do" Jude said as he try to pick up the pieces of broken glasses when his Stepmom attack him with one of the pieces that fell close to her.

"No no lucy!!!!!"  Maria scream as she saw lucy piercing Jude on his forehead with one of the broken glass which made blood rush out quickly from Jude's head.

She was about doing the same thing on his chest when maria quickly stood up and held her back firmly

"What's wrong with Lucy do you want to kill him he didn't do it purposely na and even if it purposely do you want to kill him" maria shouted at Lucy as she still try to hold her from coming more closer while jude held his head in pains moving away from the sitting room as kate rush towards him with to help him.

"Brother are you ok?" She asked as  Jude pushed her away still very angry going inside making kate to feel bad.

Lucy left immediately too and the all went inside into their rooms.

5mins later lucy was in her room the thought of all that happen few minutes ago was all over her mind as she try to get back to her normal self, the was a knock on her door.

"Lucy open up is everything ok with you over there?" Maria asked waiting outside the door for it to be open.

Lucy stood up and open the door gently looking more calm and relaxed.

"Hmmm come in" sha said as she let her friend into the room

Maria came in and sat on her bed as Lucy close her door again.

The were both speechless for 1minutes and when Lucy was about to break the silence , Maria also talk too

"See am.." Lucy

"I know.." Maria

"Hmmm you go first" maria said to Lucy

"Ok  see am sorry for the way I acted over there I was just too angry I hope you forgive me" lucy said as she try to hold maria's hands

"I know you were angry and what you did was bad and I forgive you, but you know it Jude that you should apologize to not me who knows if he is ok now anyway I will be taking my leave now pls don't do what you did today again ok I will check up on Jude before I go" Maria said as she stood up to leave.

"So fast? anyway I know you try to stay with me today thanks, but I thought we can also eat together or don't police officer eat again?" lucy said teasing maria as  she open her food that was on the table

" No not at all my profession has nothing to do with eating with you, anyway I need to be going ok see ya and don't forget to check on Jude after eating" Lucy said as  she finally leave her alone to eat in her room.

In Jude's room, he was still trying to stop his blood from coming out as the wound was very deep ,the was a knock on the door.

"Who's there!?" Jude said as he struggle to stand up from his feet holding his head to open his door.

He opened the door to see maria.

"Am sorry Jude I think you need to go to the hospital for proper treatment ok you will be ok" she said as she keep her hands on his

"It ok i.will.be ok with going there" jude replied

 " Are you sure about that?" Maria said as she try to remove her hands from his shoulder when Jude held it back.

"Thanks for saving me out there from more injuries" Jude said as the both stare at each other getting closer and closer when the heard foots steps which made them back to their Sense

"I should be going Jude " maria said as she remove her hands and move away and jude watch her till she was out of view

"How are you doing Jude?" Kate asked after seeing everything

Jude turn his face to see kate holding a first aid box.

"Wait don't tell me you're a doctor and have come to give me injection because I don't like doctors" Jude joke but kate refuse to smile

" Let's go inside"kate said and jude gave her a way into the room.

The both go into the room and jude close the door Joining kate that kept a first aid box on his table as she open it to remove some tools.

" Hey what're you doing" Jude ask as he sat on the bed facing her.

"  What do you see me doing? Am a member of a red cross in my village so I know what am doing" kate said rudely

" Hm. I know you're angry am sorry I push you in the sitting room I was just angry ok " jude said as he try to plead with Kate.

" It more than that jude what were  you were doing with madam's friend" kate asked cutting a cotton wool with scissor.

"How ? What did you see me so ? " Jude asked

" I mean your closeness .."

" Oh that? It just a play" jude said as he smile

" Oh a play ?what was all the touches and hugs for ?" Kate asked getting more upset

"Wait , wait , wait I shouldn't have touch her? Why the jealousy kate hmmm do you have feelings for me because of the kiss? "Jude ask  wondering what she will say

" Pls can we talk about this later? " Kate said as she started cleaning his wound which he scream in pains

"I hate doctors even red cross" Jude said as he try to make kate smile but she didn't 

The was a silence after the  short argument as kate was too focused on what she was doing  when he saw Jude bringing his mouth closed.

She use the cotton wool that was filled with spirit and clean his lips.

" What's the meaning of that "jude ask as he go upset.

" Sorry your mouth was coming out and I thought it was wounded too, anyway am done "kate said as she stood up  when Jude held her hands.

" Am sorry if I hurt you or scold you" jude said as kate remove his  hands again.

" It ok Jude take care before madam see's me here and no good bye kiss today, if you try it this cotton wool will do you good" she said as she move away closing the door.

" Oh sheet what's wrong with me this can't continue I have to choose just one of them! " Jude said after kate had left.

It was morning and jude was still sleeping when he heard kate scream.

He quickly wore a singlet and a trouser rushing out to see what was wrong.

He fellowed the sound of the scream and found her in his step mom's room with the door slightly open which he open it wide immediately to see his step mom lying helplessly on the floor.
