I turn my face to notice that my step mom was looking at me.
We were done eating , son I want to have some words with you outside hope you don't mine ? He asked cleaning his mouth, Not at all that I said and we both starting moving to the little garden we normally sit together when mom was still alive, you know I was wondering at first if you were the one that keep all this compound so clean I said, oh really hmm ahahaha you know am old and can't really do this that's why I went for a second wife I know this doesn't make you so happy but son it for our own best interest.
It ok dad so far you are happy I said assuring him that I have no problem with his decisions. We got to the garden and we both sit, so tell me how your school and exams was you know I love it when you gist me, daddy you like gist eh and we both laugh.
It was 4pm ,I and dad were already tire of sitting together , my son I think I need to go and see my friend down the street the is something I ordered from him he said standing up, anyway I really enjoyed spending time with you feel free with your step mom he said placing his right hands on my back while I was escorting him outside I will be back soon ok he said keeping his hands down.
Hmm I left outside and was about going inside when I meet kate coming out with plenty of clothes to wash, are you sure you will be able to wash all these clothes I asked her while she just smile, yes brother I have been washing ones that are more plenty than this she said trying to pass me by with the clothes when I started following her.
So can I asked you some questions I asked her , which made her start feeling uncomfortable with my presence, ok yes go on, ok why do you like to call anty Lucy madam and not another name like , anty, sister etc.
Hmmm that's what she told me to be calling her she said dropping the clothes beside the bucket of water she already brought to wash the clothes.
