ANUTY WOW Episode 9
ANUTY WOW
Episode 9
Back in school, Joel and his friend Victor were both kneeling down in Aunty Wow's classroom as the class started murmuring. The students were snickering and whispering to each other, saying "see smart move men, this guys are legend." Aunty Wow, whose real name was Susan, urged them to keep quiet as she began to interrogate Victor and Joel.
Just as Aunty Wow was about to start questioning them, Teacher Bernard burst into the classroom. "Susan, my dear, I see you have your hands full with these two. Let me assist you in disciplining them. These students are always very stubborn," he said with a smile.
Aunty Wow politely declined his offer. "Thank you, sir, but I will deal with this personally." However, Teacher Bernard persisted, asking again if he could assist. Aunty Wow continued to refuse, and eventually, Teacher Bernard got frustrated and left the classroom.
It was no secret that Teacher Bernard had a crush on Aunty Wow, but she didn't seem to notice or return his affections.
Aunty Wow turned her attention back to Victor and Joel. "Victor, tell me what happened. How did that love letter end up on your assignment?" she asked sternly.
Victor spoke up, "Ma'am, I don't know how it got there. I gave my friend Joel my book to help me with the assignment."
Joel's eyes widened in surprise. "Wait, wait, which Joel?" he asked, trying to play dumb.
Aunty Wow silenced Joel with a stern look. "Shhh, let Victor finish speaking."
Victor continued, "Ma'am, I'm telling you the truth. I couldn't have written that letter. I don't know who did."
Aunty Wow nodded, taking note of Victor's words. "Okay, Victor, I've heard your side of the story. Joel, I have a few questions for you."
She looked at Joel sternly. "Did Victor give you his book at your place yesterday to write notes that you missed that day?"
Joel hesitated before answering. "Yes, ma'am, but..."
Aunty Wow cut him off. "Shhh, that's okay. You can go to your class, Victor. I'll deal with Joel myself."
As Victor walked out of the classroom, Joel shot him a dirty look, feeling betrayed by his friend's words. Aunty Wow turned her attention to Joel, her eyes narrowing.
"So, Joel, it seems like you're in a bit of trouble," she said, her voice firm but controlled. "Victor claims that you wrote the love letter on his assignment. Care to explain?"
Joel's eyes darted around the classroom, searching for an escape route. He knew he was in trouble, and he didn't know how to talk his way out of it.
"I...I don't know what to say, ma'am," Joel stuttered.
Aunty Wow raised an eyebrow. "Don't play dumb with me, Joel. I know you're a bright boy. Now, tell me the truth. Did you write that love letter?"
Joel hesitated, unsure of what to do. He knew that if he confessed, he would get in trouble. But if he denied it, Aunty Wow might not believe him.
Joel took a deep breath and decided to confess. "Ma'am, I'm sorry. I wrote the love letter. It was a stupid mistake, and I didn't mean to cause any trouble."
Aunty Wow's expression softened slightly, but she still looked disappointed. "Joel, why did you write that letter? And why did you put it on Victor's assignment?"
Joel looked down, embarrassed. "I don't know, ma'am. I just did it as a joke. I didn't think it would cause any problems."
Aunty Wow sighed. "Joel, you need to think before you act. Your actions can hurt others, and they can also get you into trouble. I'm going to have to give you a detention for this."
Joel nodded, feeling a mix of relief and regret. He knew he had made a mistake, and he was willing to face the consequences.
Just then, the school bell rang, signaling the end of the period. Aunty Wow dismissed Joel, telling him to report to her classroom after school for his detention.
As Joel walked out of the classroom, he felt a tap on his shoulder. It was Victor, looking apologetic.
"Hey, Joel, I'm sorry about what happened. I didn't mean to get you in trouble," Victor said.
Joel smiled wryly. "It's okay, Victor. I deserved it. I was stupid to be shy of her."
Victor nodded in agreement. "Yeah, you were. But I'm still sorry. Let's just forget about it and move on, okay?"
Joel nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over him. Maybe this was an opportunity for him to learn from his mistakes and move forward but Joel never knew what his detention will be!.
